Carwyn Ginsberg (Fennel Seeds, Hippies vs Ghosts), Dave Elwyn and Mike Pandy (HazyBee) are the fathers of musical project Blind Wilkie McEnroe. After playing in numerous bands over the years, the trio from Wrexham and Bangor joined forces to create something new and exciting. Si Brereton joined on keys and percussion, as well as Andrew Stokes on the bass to get a richer and more complete sound on stage, and eventually, in the studio.
Plenty of excitement has surrounded the band’s catchy, energetic, psychedelic tracks already after the release of Ar Ddydd Fel Hyn in 2018. The EP was recorded at Stiwdio Glan-Llyn with Llŷr Parri (Jen Jeniro, Serol Serol, Omaloma), and with the success and praise hailing from their live performances, there’s certainly a lot to get excited about on its way from Blind Wilkie McEnroe.
