Dienw

Dienw are Twm Herd (lead singer and guitar) and Osian Land (drums), who describe themselves as “a raw and honest band with indie and psychedelic influences”. They formed back in 2017, and had a session on Huw Stephens’  popular Radio Cymru show in 2018. The band name is a tribute to one of Eitha Tal Ffranco’s songs of the same name.

Three singles were released in their early years – ‘Sigaret‘, ‘Bwystfil Prydferth‘ and ‘Ffilm’. ‘Targed‘ appeared on the multi-artist record to celebrate I KA CHING’s tenth year, ‘X‘, released in 2022.

Their debut album, ‘Dienw‘, was released in 2023, following two singles, ‘Ffydd‘ and ‘Emma‘.
