Glain Rhys

I KA CHING welcomed Glain Rhys to the label with the release of ‘Plu’r Gweunydd’ in May 2021.

After two years without releasing music following her debut album ‘Atgof Prin’ (Sain) in 2018, Glain returned with a new, developed sound which she described as ‘epic, experimental, and passionate’ in an interview in the Summer 2023 edition of Y Selar music magazine.

‘Sara‘ was on the multi-artist record to celebrate I KA CHING’s tenth year, ‘X‘.

Her first album with I KA CHING, ‘Pan Ddaw’r Dydd i Ben’ was released in 2023, following the singles ‘Swedish Tradition‘, ‘Eira Flwyddyn Nesa‘ with Gildas and ‘Hed Wylan Deg‘. The album reached the shortlist for best album in the 2023 Y Selar awards.
