Geth Vaughn

Originally from Llanrwst, Geth Vaughn dabbled in various school bands.

He moved to Manchester in 2005 to study graphic design, before establishing Young – a design and animation company in 2009.

He started experimenting with music again while creating sound effects and music for Young’s animations.

Geth said: “I wrote and recorded a song ‘Cambihafio’ and put it on soundcloud and a friend of mine sent it to Radio Cymru – and it was made ‘song of the week’! Soon, I recorded a session for Huw Stephens’ program on Radio Cymru, and they used the song Tân as the theme tune for Caryl Parry Jones’ programme!”

Since becoming a Dad, Geth he has less time to record, but he released the poignant single ‘Patrymau Angel’ on I KA CHING Records in early 2020.
