The dream-like Palenco.

The band are a two piece from the heartland of Snowdonia in North Wales. Both Llŷr Pari (Y Niwl, Jen Jeniro, Cowbois Rhos Botwnnog) and Dafydd Owain (Jen Jeniro, Eitha Tal Franco) are well-established artists having played in numerous music festivals and venues across Wales and beyond over the years. This, perhaps, is the reason behind the maturity of Palenco’s production and sound.

Their debut 7”, ‘Bath’/’Saethu Cnau’ (Klep Dim Trep), was released in August 2014 and was well received amongst Welsh audiences. The track ‘Saethu Cnau’ was featured as ‘Track of the Week’ on BBC Radio Cymru.

The band’s self-titled debut album is a blend of bright and dreamy music drizzled with dark lyrical overtones – an unique musical embrace, perfect for hazy summer days.

Palenco contributed a brand new song called ‘Gofyn Cwestiwn’ to the compilation that was released by I KA CHING to celebrate the lable’s 5^th anniversary in 2016.
