I KA CHING record label is celebrating its fifth birthday! And no birthday would be complete without a special gift and a party…

Over the past couple of months, every band that has released music with I KA CHING have been busy recording brand new songs or working on re-mixes. All 16 songs will be released on a beautiful double record that will be released on Friday 22 July, 2016.

The bands that will appear on this unique, eclectic compilation are: Jen Jeniro, Texas Radio Band, Sen Segur, Violas, Siddi, Clwb Cariadon, Yr Eira, Y Reu, Candelas, Sŵnami, Ysgol Sul, Palenco, Y Cledrau, Yr Ods, Huw M and Cpt.Smith.

The day after the release, at 3pm, Saturday 23 July, 2016, it will be time to celebrate! I KA CHING will throw a birthday party in the form of a gig in partnership with Bangor University’s Arts and Innovation Centre. There will be live performances at Pontio, Bangor by some of the label’s artists including Candelas, Sŵnami, Yr Ods, Yr Eira, Palenco, Ysgol Sul, Carcharorion, Y Cledrau and Siddi.
