Cawl – Dafydd Owain

Dafydd Owain releases second single from forthcoming album.

I Ka Ching Records are pleased to announce the release of Dafydd Owain’s second single, ‘Cawl’, from his upcoming album ‘Ymarfer Byw’. The single will be released this Friday 12th September 2025.

In ‘Ymarfer Byw’, Dafydd explores some of life’s most profound experiences and ‘Cawl’ is distinctive of Dafydd’s ability to explore such experiences with a blend of lyrical depth and understated musicality. This new release offers another glimpse into the album, which is due out on 8th October 2025.

Dafydd’s debut album, ‘Uwch Dros y Pysgod’, received widespread acclaim and was nominated for both the Welsh Music Prize and Welsh-language Album of the Year.
