Cawl Llonydd – Carcharorion

‘Cawl Llonydd’ by Carcharorion is a project that reimagines a song by Dafydd Owain (‘Cawl’) and by Nia Morgan (‘Llonydd’). After a prolonged period away, Huw Cadwaladr and Gruff Pritchard are back under the name ‘Carcharorion’. They offer their own perspective on these tracks, favourite of theirs, adapting them to be deep, meditative dance tracks. The lyrics were a big influence, therefore a huge respect was given to their meaning, composing the music through their own lens but with that in mind.
